Welcome and thank you for joining us here at J&J Staffing Solutions to learn about the newly developed program, The Day Laborer!
We've created this program for those who may be interested in a career in financial services, specifically as Full Charge Bookkeepers. Upon passing the Bookkeeper's Bootcamp, you'll be eligible to apply for the two year apprenticeship program with PJ Financial Group.
If you're currently unemployed and collecting unemployment insurance, we can help you with the $3,500 bootcamp fee! To get started, submit a copy of your resume, a copy of your unemployment determination letter from your state, and the New Student Enrollment form. This will allow us to create a customized financial aid package that allows you to complete the bootcamp and earn some spending cash while you learn.
All positions available are work from home positions, so you'll need a laptop, webcam, access to a phone, and the ability to work during office hours (9am-6pm, Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday—take your pick of which day to take off).
If this sounds like something you're interested in, don't hesitate to enroll in the PJU Day Laborer program! There are only a limited number of spaces available, so don't delay. We look forward to partnering with you soon!
The Day Labor program offers a competitive standard pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with $5.00 per hour going towards the payment of the Bookkeeper's Bootcamp fee. This means that by working up to 700 hours, not only will the worker earn a total of $10,500.00, but they will also have fully paid off their bootcamp balance. It's a win-win situation for both the worker and the company.
The program cost for the Bootcamp is currently discounted by 50%, making the total cost $3,500.00.
No, we provide various options to assist them, including scholarships, grants, and both in-house and external financing options. We also collaborate with job offices that offer training programs with stipends or vouchers. Additionally, we offer scholarships to reduce the cost and enable students to enroll and pursue a new career.
Our program is open to participants from all over the world. However, we do have certain eligibility criteria that must be met, including being at least 18 years old and having a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Individuals who are currently unemployed and in need of financial support are required to submit a copy of their unemployment determination letter as evidence of their financial hardship.
